Ring

The Guardian Raven is a solid sterling silver oval signet with an intaglio engraved Raven on the face. The Raven itself is flanked by a 9ct yellow gold arrow, which represents the resilience of the Raven. On the shoulders of the signet are a Raven in a tree with the quote “watcher of the day” and a Raven on a lamp post with “keeper of the night”.  This represents the Ravens ability to watch with great patience. The last feature of the ring is the “unkindness” or flock of ravens that’s hidden on the inside of the ring.

Packaging

The ring comes in a sustainably sourced wooden box as well as the Serpent Cove treasure chest with all its Cove trinkets. Standard postage within Australia is included, express and international postage available at an additional cost.

Story

It sits, it waits, it watches, but most of all it studies. The Guardian Raven is no silly being. This cunning winged warrior is in it for the long game and will use its patience to wait out its prey. Using its intellect to work out the best angle of attack with the most effective and efficient methods. Even if it’s out sized or outmatched it does not care. For it is cloaked in an oily, stealthy blackness that will use your strengths and make them your weaknesses while playing games that you cannot win

Patience, Intellect, Cunning, Resourcefulness

Inspiration

The Guardian Raven is inspired by a personal connection I have with this animal. As I come from Wagga Wagga, there are a lot of crows/Australian ravens and I’ve always felt them watching me in my life. My grandfather told me if I see one then it's a good day for a fight, something that goes back to an Irish proverb and folklore. I also got to see the ravens at London Tower and they simply had me spellbound with their beauty, intelligence and amazing personalities.
