The Atomic Crab ring wraps around the finger and has movable claws which are  magnetically powered. One claw is sterling silver and the other rose gold and the claws can dangle and will then snap back into place on their hinges. The rose gold claw is the giant mechanical atomic powered claw, this is further shown by the green brilliant cut tsavorite garnet embedded in the claw. The last feature is its rich purple cabochon cut amethyst eye in the body of the crab.

Packaging

The ring comes in a sustainably sourced wooden box as well as the Serpent Cove treasure chest with all its Cove trinkets. Standard postage within Australia included, express and international postage available at an additional cost.

Story

With the water rushing into the helmet it’s hard to see, but the image slowly starts to clear....The Diver sees a crab…a giant crab with a glowing green metal claw. Before the Diver can fully grasp what’s happening the crabs claw starts to creak and whine. Like a hydraulic digging machine and it swipes the Diver with a violent snap, that lets out a crack and a rush of bubbles, it just misses the Diver. With the helmet filling with water the Diver grabs the giant tentacle back, which the crab had started to make a meal of. Then with its other gauntlet it unsheathes its knife and punctures one of its tanks, which causes the Diver to rocket back to the surface and crash onto the sand. Water rushes out of the helmet as the Diver slowly gets back to its feet and gains its balance again. It throws the remains of the tentacle onto the shore and turns to face the now bubbling surf to see the crab in all its menacing glory.

It’s massive, the size of a cow, not your normal crustacean, its left claw is gone but in its place is a giant copper one. It’s built slick and smooth with what looks to be something radioactive in the centre powering it. A bright green glow emits from it while it whines open and shut like a digger, but with violent speed. This crab doesn’t look particularly normal, it has one large purple dome for eyes and yet the markings on the claw look familiar.  The Diver doesn’t get a chance to analyze now as it dodges more of these quick snip attacks, the claw whining and firing away. The Diver is backing up trying to get its footing and trips on a rock. The crab scuttles over our hero and powers up its atomic claw for another swipe. It comes flying down to grab our hero but it seems to be too eager, its snipper tip gets stuck in the sand. The Diver tries to escape but the claw is atomic, its crush power is unstoppable. It starts to whirl into life and slowly closes. The Diver thinks quickly and grabs its flare gun, pushing it hard into the joint of the crabs claw where the copper meets flesh and fires! In a brilliant, bright ball of light the Atomic Crab reels in pain and the Diver seizes the opportunity. It rolls back but gets snagged from something coming out of its suit, a spear. Perfect if the helmet of the suit could smile, it would. While the crab rallies trying to get its massive, but now glitching and sparking claw to move, the Diver starts running full speed with the spear. The crab sees this but it’s too late, it goes to snap our hero in half but the old suit is too quick. It pushes the spear through the large purple eye, deep, all the way through the crab. The claws come around the Diver into a hug, then the being goes lifeless. The glow of the claw dims, then flickers and then dies. As the giant crustacean lies at the water's edge with the waves making some of its legs dance, the Diver cuts off the giant coppery claw, a mess of wires and muscle comes out. The claw looked familiar and now the Diver knows why, it brandishes markings that are the same as the Laser Sharks laser. It’s from the same origins, a lab maybe or some sort of military facility or is it a mining thing? With the sun starting to rise the Diver now checks it’s finally safe and starts to fix the suit. The being inside feels it might need the suit in one piece to face the next challenge.....
