Story
As our Holy Diver slowly makes its way to the bottom of the Cove, all that can be seen is the humming dull glow of light emitting from our hero’s helmet. What neither the Holy Diver or we can see is a foul set of twisted eyes following the light of the helmet. It is the fearsome creature known as the Hammer Hitter....
Not much is known of this beast but its scars can tell a tale and its tallies finish it. For the Hammer Hitter will take score of all its kills by marking its body, in some kind of sadistic tally.
The ancient shark jerks its massive head to kickstart his old body into action. As it moves closer and closer to our armoured hero, its excitement shows as it opens its jagged fractured teeth in a grimacing smile. He is already planning where to mark his body with his next victim in sight, but luckily our hero has something up its heavy canvas sleeve.
Now in striking distance it cocks its massive head and swings at the diver, as if it was driving a massive nail home. Our diver feels the violent excitement of the Hammer Hitter in the water, ducking at the last second it swings its spear gun to bear on the shark. The hammer hitter comes back for another blow but the diver fires a spear which enters one eye and comes right out the other.
Its as if the diver knew how this old gnarled beast would strike its prey and countered it. As the diver watches this ancient creature’s body rest on the Cove floor, he swims down and cuts out one of the tally marks. As if to say the Hammer Hitter as one less kill....
With the Hammer Hitter foiled the shallows and rocky outcrops of the Cove are somewhat safer...for now.....
